"It is my considered opinion that the Hairdresser is the most influential man/woman in any community. When a person goes to a Hairdresser something happens to them. They feel safe; they relax. The Hairdresser knows their age; they don't have to keep up any kind of pretense. They tell a Hairdresser things they wouldn't dare confess to a priest and they are open about matters they'd try to conceal to a doctor. I have heard Hairdressers quoted with complete conviction on art, literature, politics, economics, childcare and morals. I tell you that a clever, thoughtful, ambitious Hairdresser wields a power beyond the comprehension of most men."
~ Famous American Writer John Steinbeck 1902-1968
At The Barber Place we want our customers to feel that our shop is part of the neighborhood community...we get to know you on a personal level and establish a lasting relationship . Our customers mean more to us than just a number on a waiting list at a local franchise. Not only do we get the opportunity to provide good service, but we also form great friendships.
This is what makes me more than just a Barber and the reason I enjoy my job.
